Take a Walk with Us – July 26, 6pm PT

Peter Nicks, Director of the highly anticipated documentary The Waiting Room, is taking a walk to reflect upon the profound strength and courage of those he met while filming, the current state of Healthcare, and how we can come together as a nation to live longer, healthier lives. And you’re invited.

On Thursday, July 26 Peter is asking you to take a stand of solidarity to show that the voices and experiences of everyday Americans need to be more present in our national discussion on Healthcare.

At 6pm, take a walk with citizens from cities all across the nation. By taking a few minutes out of your day to walk, you’ll be taking an action for your health AND by Tweeting to Pete on your phone, you’ll join a nationwide conversation from citizens, health experts, and fans of The Waiting Room for a personal and collective experience with the Director.

Stretch your legs as one individual and show the might of our numbers as one of many. Tweet questions/comments about the film, post articles/videos you think are important about healthcare, and share about YOUR STORY directly to Peter using @waitingstories on Twitter. For example:

@waitingstories Saw the trailer online. My wife has diabetes and w/o insurance we can barely afford her medication.

@waitingstories Pete, how long did it take you to make the film?

See (Tweet) you there!
